DIALOG series
From this first thought, spreading through the multitude of living beings like water across a desert plain, arises the luxuriant jungle of emotions, with its roses and its poisonous plants. Attachment, aversion, art sometimes rising above the foliage while the ego continually seeks to anchor itself to the ground.
But it is the emergence of speech that marks the turning point. One thought encounters another thought. Each, housed in its own body, makes the air vibrate to express itself. In the immensity, they tell each other imaginary stories.
And speech branches out again and again, building one civilization after another. All contribute to the construction of an immense mirror in which the unspeakable gradually begins to reflect itself. In this process, thought becomes structured, grows in awareness, and eventually, after failing elsewhere again and again, opens itself to spirituality.
